Part One

So I am reading the newspaper and come a cross this head line
Wild dogs killed woman, then her husband

the fate of the animals has not yet been decided

I am sorry, but if any wild dogs kill someone and have been captured, they need to be put down, and this got me thinking of my perfect (OK maybe not perfect)dog.

Once upon a time there was a little girl who asked here mother if she could have a dog. Her mother had said she had to wait till they moved into their new house and their sod had to have the roots grow deep in to the ground. So she waited till the the 20th of December.

They went to Humane Society to look at dogs. She looked at the first dog and it was a 10 year old spaniel, but he was too old (in that case they were looking for a girl dog). She passed some other dogs and she got to a golden short haired mutt who is on all four feet, jumping up and down at least 4 feet into the air. She passed that dog quickly and get to a springer spaniel-coon hunting dog whose name was Juliet. She wanted her but the lady said that that particular dog would need lots of exercise and would be hyper. She kept going and found a pretty retriever looking dog with a black coat. Ah, she was beautiful and wanted her, but(I still do not know why they didn't get her), she kept going. The lady who walked dogs said this next dog was the best dog in the place. She said she was so calm and loving and that if anyone wanted a low maintenance dog, here she was.

her little card-thing outside of the fence said this
Dawn $65.00
breed: Doberman/greyhound
Very sweet

Kind and gentle

Playful with toys

Likes other dogs

LOVES cats

Great with baths

Likes car rides

So the family bought her and put the chip inside of her (the father signed his life away for this dog too) and were about to walk out the door when this lady said that you can never chain up a greyhound - that they will pull till they die or they get off of the chain or rope. This family was not going to have an inside dog till she said those 21 little words.

End of part one
